Our shoot is more awesome obviously!
As lili as pointed out in her blog the Irish times published a shoot on saturday down in lough rynn castle where we happened to do a shoot as well...the funny thing is some of the spots they choose were exactly the same as the one we choose... for example a tree in the massive garden!!!... so now it looks like we copied them and we didn't, crysies! So lili has put the shots from the shoot up on her blog early so i yoinked them.. Up first are some shots from the irish times editorial then our editoral. which do you prefer??

Date nite
Me and Anthony went to the spigeltent last night for the opening.. La Clique was on.. it was amazing even though some bits disturbed me and i couldnt help thinking it was like a modern day freak show.. it also enthralled me and made me slightly jealous that i didnt have some weird talent like being able to fit my whole body through a tennis racket, or hula hoop with 5 billion hoops or swallow a chair leg... After the show we were led out on to the boardwalk to watch a peformance art show that involved beds floating on the water in georges dock..hard to explain but amazing to look at...
Waiting for the show to begin

This all round celebrity/designer/singer has completely upped the style stakes with her spring / summer 2008 collection... the whole collection nods to ska/ rude girl/jamica/ along with her signature black and white stripe look.. above are my favourite looks for the collection.. have you guessed who it is yet?? Gwen Stefani and her label L.A.M.B. !!

Bitch
My favourite magazine shock horror isnt a fashion magazine - its this BITCH and cos they would sum up the magazine way better than me here is there mission:
"Bitch seeks to be a fresh, revitalizing voice for feminism, one that welcomes complex arguments, showcases witty and whip-smart critiques of popular culture, and refuses to ignore the contradictory and sometimes uncomfortable details that constitute the realities of life in an unequivocally gendered world.
Bitch is about formulating replies to the sexist and narrow-minded media diet that we all - intentionally or not - consume. It's about critically examining the images of femininity, feminism, class, race, and sexuality that are thrown at us by the media. And by media, we mean TV, movies, books, magazines, the music world, advertising, fashion, the web-and we also mean the messages that are sent through the news media, in schools, and on the streets.
Bitch is about forging connections between the sociocultural messages we get and the commercial agendas of who's behind them. It's about creating a dialogue - making people aware that the dissenting views they hold are, in fact, shared by many. It's about asking ourselves and each other questions: Where are the female-friendly places in the mass media? Where are the things we can see and read and listen to that don't insult our intelligence? How can we get more of them?
Bitch is about saying, We can make them."
